  • How do I book a Triple A Food Tour?

    • Visit our 'Tours' page and have a read through our selection of tours on offer.
    • Click 'Book Now' on the tour you wish to enjoy.
    • Select the number of tickets and your chosen date.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions

    If the date you wish to join is sold out, hit the blue button to join the waiting list.

  • The date I want to book is sold out

    Our tours fill up very quickly. If the date you wish to attend is sold out, you can join the waiting list. You can join the waiting list for up to 10 dates.


    If places become available for your chosen date, we will contact everyone on the waiting list via email. Places will be first come, first served. 

  • How do I book a private tour?

    Our private tours are very popular among businesses for their networking events or entertaining clients and with schools and colleges for their educational programmes.


    We also host private tours for families and friends whilst they celebrate special occassions from birthdays and retirements to stag and hen dos.

  • How do I book with a gift voucher?

    Nice one, aren't you lucky! To book using your voucher, simply input your voucher number at checkout where it says 'Discount/Voucher Code.' Your balance will be reduced by the value of your voucher.

  • How long is a voucher valid for?

    Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You do not need to attend a tour before its expiry date, but your tour must be booked before its expiry date.

  • What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

    You can reschedule or cancel your tour up to 72 hours before the tour is due to start. To do this, email info@tripleafoodtours.com. After this time, Triple A Food Tours reserves the right to refuse a refund.

  • Will Triple A Food Tours ever cancel a tour?

    It's very unlikely that we will ever cancel a tour. In the event of weather conditions that we deem unsafe to walk in, Triple A Food Tours reserves the right to cancel/postpone a tour at any time. In this instance, Triple A Food Tours will provide as much notice as possible and all guests would be entitled to a full refund. 


    In case of emergency or unavoidable circumstances, Triple A Food Tours may cancel a tour at short notice. Of course, a full refund will be issued in this unlikely event. 


    We will contact you using the details provided and will not be liable for any losses you incur as a result of incorrect contact details (e.g. email address or mobile phone number.)

  • What if the minimum number of guests is not met?

    We conduct our tours with a minimum of 4 people. If the minimum is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the tour and give alternative days to attend and or refund the tickets.



  • Are there any age restrictions?

    All of our public tours are for 18 and over only except for our Grainger Market Tour - children are welcome on this tour.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    As much as we love our furry friends, our venues are not dog friendly and therefore, dogs are not permitted on our tours.

  • Can you cater for dietary requirements?

    Yes, we will do our best to cater for your dietary requirements. However, please note that The Grainger Market Tour is not suitable for people who have a gluten-free diet.


    If you have any specific dietary needs or allergies, please make sure to mention them in your booking form


    It's your responsibility to let the venues and your guide know about any dietary requirements. We can’t be held responsible for any issues caused by a venue.

  • Are your tours accessible?

    If you have accessibility or mobility concerns, please let us know at the time of booking and we will work with you to tailor the tour's route to meet your needs.


    Unfortunately, the Ouseburn Tour is not suitable for guests who require wheelchair access due to the entrance to the Victoria Tunnel.

  • What size are the tour groups?

    Are group sizes range from 4 to 15 guests. This number can vary on private tours. We like to keep our group sizes small to ensure the best possible experience.

  • What should I wear?

    We recommend wearing comfortable, sturdy shoes and bringing weather-appropriate clothing and accessories, such as a waterproof jacket, umbrella, gloves, sunglasses, and sunscreen.


    Remember that the weather in the North East can change from hour to hour!

  • How will I spot my guide?

    Your guide will be waiting for you at the meeting point stated on your tickets 10 minutes before the start time. They'll be wearing their Triple A Food Tours uniform, holding a yellow flag and have a huge, welcoming smile.

  • What if I'm late?

    If you know you're going to be late, please contact us on 0191 468 3863 and we will let your guide know.


    Our guides will wait for latecomers up to 5 minutes after the start time. They will give you a call if they haven't heard from you and let you know the next stop so you can meet them there. Our guides cannot leave the group to come and find you.


    No refunds or partial refunds will be issued to latecomers for part of the tour missed.
