Lindsay Brothers provide quality fresh fish and is in our opinion the best fishmongers in the whole of Newcastle.
An industrial Mediterranean streetfood cafe with contemporary ceramic studio. Great craft beers, great artisan coffee and fantastic people. Here we sample Mezze platters, including their own homemade hummus!

Snackwallah The Grainger Market
Snackwallah is the most amazing Indian street food vendor that is based right within the heart of The Grainger Market. These guys are an all Vegan street food eaterie and most famous for their own version of Pani Puri. A warm welcome is always guaranteed from this family run stall. We love them!
The historic city of Durham isn't famed for its Mexican links, but this restaurant is certainly changing that now! It's really well known for its authentic food coming in directly from Mexico, and also for the fantastic relaxed atmosphere, what could be more Mexican than a cocktail and great food? Some of the food types on offer are quite unknown to a lot of Brits, so it's fantastic to be able to test them out!
If Japanese dining is your thing, then Miso will have just the thing for you! This former music practice room is now owned by an ex-DJ turned chef who has been inspired by his trips to Asia and Japan. First this started as a food van, and was so successful that Ouseburn is now it's home - and, as a pretty cool and swanky part of Newcastle, it makes sense to have a hipster Japanese restaurant at your right here!
Coarse is Durham's first tasting menu restaurant. Opened in September of 2022, this place is one of the hottest places to dine in the city at the moment!
Old Toms Gin Bar is full of character, charm and curiosity. Set in a Tudor building from the 1500-1600’s, the bar specialises in Gins, Wine, Cheeses and Charcuterie – and features a peculiar collection of decor from all corners of the globe.
