Hi Guys! This is my first ever blog post (like ever). I think its best that I get it over with and out of the way....you are dealing with a self confessed cheesaholic! I have been cheese free for 3 days now and I am really starting to count down to the weekend where I will be enjoying a cheeseboard of all of my favourites (its my birthday this week). Its been a bad few weeks for me. Why is it that at Christmas when your at home more, its absolutley acceptable to wake up and take an absolute wedge of stilton from the fridge and have it on a cracker at 8:30 in the morning...or is this just me?. Myself, husband and my son visited our favourite cheese shop over the festive period, its called Matthews Cheese, located in The Grainger Market. This place is an absolute gem of a place. Literally, what these girls dont know about cheese just isn't worth knowing. Lets pay homage to fromage for a sec and talk about some of my favourites: Delice De Bourgogne or "posh brie" as its more commonly known. Its a triple creamed cows milk cheese and if creamy, gooey cheese is you thing, then this definitely for you! another firm favourite in the Whitfield household is a blue stilton. On a charcoal cracker with a little chilli jam.....the absolute business!!!
